The Eighth Law Of Prosperity

Personal Development

ONE UNFAILING LAW OF PROSPERITY IS TO “SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

If we do this we are promised, “and all these things (i.e., blessings in life) shall be added unto you.” (Matt. 6:33).

The fact of the matter is that this puts God’s will and others before own interests.

If we can understand clearly that a person’s life does not consist of the things that he/she possesses, we will become free from covetousness that makes us selfish and self-centered.

Giving up our selfish living and seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, we will receive an hundredfold in this life and in the life to come, EVERLASTING LIFE.

THAT IS ASSURED BY CHRIST HIMSELF. (Matt. 19:27-30).

    Hi Matt,
I really enjoyed your topic. In 1994 when a time of change was coming into my life and I was seeking Him for what I should do for an income, He spoke to me “Seek My Kingdom.” Well, I didn’t know how to seek His Kingdom and I thought I already was by reading His word and going to church. Besides I lived in the United States and isn’t that His Kingdom? Well, here it is 15 years later and only He knows if I have been as diligent as I should have been (thank you God for your mercy) but there were times when all I could do was sit before Him and say “Okay Lord, here I am again seeking You and Your Kingdom.” God is faithful, there are things He has shown me and He has changed me and my life. He said one day when I was getting impatient, “The day you set out to seek My Kingdom, I began working in you that you could enter it.”
Paul’s words in Acts 14:22 have comforted my heart many times. God is trying to change us and the devil is trying to stop us. It’s not an easy journey, especially when there are so many who believe they’ve already entered in. But, I agree as Jesus said and you spoke of it is for here and now. We are to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and true to His word He will meet our needs —-as the raven? sometimes, yes, but we must be content with His will for our lives. I don’t see alot of people wanting to live the life of John the Baptist. But John said “a man can have nothing unless it is allotted him from God.”
Thanks for your word. It has confirmed and encouraged me on my journey.
    Blessings
